Acclaimed Limerick photographer, Gerry Andrews, is the subject of 2012’s summer exhibition at Limerick’s Hunt Museum. Focusing on his images of the Milk Market and Limerick life in the 1970s the images have a startling clarity revealing distant worlds and ways of life. Close in time but worlds apart the images challenge our views of recent history and the journey we are all on. In the midst of economic challenges the images recall, all too graphically, the challenges of recent generations.
